Company Timeline:
1967:
Fabricated cable racks for Western Electric Company.
1970’s:
Added light gage coil slitting and descaling (shot blasting) of bar and structural products, hot roll bar straightening and cold draw from coil.
1980’s:
Added turning and polishing, cold draw from straight bar, and saw cutting of bundles. Added additional turning & polishing and saw cutting capabilities.
1990’s:
Added more bundle saws, precision-mult cutting band saws and roto bar testing. Attained ISO 9002:1994 and QS 9000:1998 certifications.
Purchased 5-1/2 acres of adjacent land. Built new employee parking lot, training room, and new plant offices with maintenance facility. Added outdoor crane facility with expanded raw material storage.
Sold slitting operation and purchased new Daisho Seiki 5" bar turning & polishing line.
Year 2000 & the New Millennium:
Added automated material handling and wireless crane controls for improved safety and efficiency, performed major overhauls/rebuilds on key pieces of equipment. Added automated chamfering and uncoil & cut to length equipment.
Began providing additional services such as centerless bar grinding and phosphate coating of piece parts.
Added circular cold saws for improved tolerances on short precision cut mults.
Attained ISO 9001:2000 certification. Change and adapt per our current and future customers requirements.
